-Lives and works in Lisbon
-Architect by the Fine Arts College of Lisbon. Has several post-graduations specializing in "Conservation and Recovery of Buildings and Monuments", ESBAL/DA, "Technics for Intervention in the Architectonic Heritage" from University of Oviedo. Title of Specialist in Architecture and Building - Architectonic and Building Heritage, and is a Ph.D. candidate at FAUP - Faculty of Architecture of the University of Porto.
Professor of Conservation and Restoration in IPT; Invited Assistant Professor in FAUTL, of Project - Integrated Master in Architecture, Specialization in Interior Architecture and Rehabilitation of Built. Is also Professor of Project and Menber of the Scientific Comission in CEA-PCRA- Advanced Study Course in Project of Architectonic Conservation and Rehabilitation, since 2013.
-Invited Professor in Facoltà di Architettura-Università degli Studi di Sassari, Alghero, Sardenha, Italy.
-Was Invited Assistant Professor of Project, from 1998-2007, in UAL - Department of Architecture, Lisbon-
-Presented several scientific comunications and, was a keynote speaker in several national and international conferences, about architecture and design.
As professional activity, has an workshop with Margarida Grácio Nunes, and developed activity in the field of Architecture and Urbanism, with several projects of public and private buildings, rehabilitation and restoration interventions, interior transformations, furniture and product design.
Has participated and won several national and international architecture contests, including in contests by invitation of public and private institutions;
Has been distinguished with several national and international architecture prizes.
Has works built in Lisbon, Sintra, Tomar, Santarém, Évora, Elvas and Wilhelmshaven (Alemanha).
Is a member of ICOMOS Portugal and “Portuguese National Delegate para o ISC20C– International Scientific Committee on 20th Century Heritage”- ICOMOS.
Commissioner in Lisbon Open House, edition of 2014, and consultant in the 2012 and 2013 editions.
His work in Architecture and Design has been disseminated regularly in national and international publications, from which we may stand out the book “CONTEMPORARY WORLD INTERIORS” by Susan Yelavich, PHAIDON Press Inc, New York, 2007.
He is represented in MUDE “Museu do Design e da Moda” (Museum of Design and Fashion), Lisbon, in the collections of the Secretary of State for Culture, and in MADE- Craft and Design Museum of Évora.
